This massivly carbonated Belgian pours amber with a slight haze. The aroma is of candied fruit with spice of anise, clove with a bit of molasses. The flavor is malty sweet with a doughy quality, allspice, cinnamon and a dark fruit ester. The mouthfeel is a bit warming from the alcohol and the overall flavor threshold is not as aggressive as my descriptors may sound. A good example of the fruity Belgian Christmas style.
