The Big Island has a beer that they can be really proud of. These rock solid micros stand up to anything here on the mainland. This pale pours a golden amber hue. The aroma is of crystal malts and citrusy hops that seem a little more orange than grapefruit. The flavor has some caramel notes along with predominate pale malt flavor. The hops bitterness was bigger than I expected and helped the beer finish well and balance the medium mouth feel.
