La Bete Des Vosges (The Beast of Vosges):

Don’t fear this beast, it may look vicious on the label but it is actually quite smooth and gentle. It pours a fantastic amber / orange hue with a tight dense head. The aroma that wafts up is sweet and fruity with peach and floral notes along with a mellow maltiness. The flavor is both malty and fruity and the medium body fills the mouth well without being heavy. There is an ever so slight hoppiness to it but it is the malt that lingers in the finish. Although this beast is not vicious, it does have teeth at 8% and its smooth nature belies its over all strength.
